Working together, they show that love and creativity can create wonders.

Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress

Morris Micklewhite likes Sundays when his mother makes him pancakes. He also loves Mondays because he gets to to go school, and there are lots of activities he likes there: painting, singing, snack time, the list goes on. The very best thing about school is the dress up box, where he always finds his favorite bright tangerine dress to put on. The other kids aren't very accepting of Morris wearing a dress, but he is able to find solace at home where he paints pictures inspired by his dreams and imagination.

Give Up, Gecko!

Hank Finds an Egg

In this stunning, wordless picture book, Hank, a cute stuffed animal (perhaps a bear or a monkey) finds an egg that has fallen from its nest.  After several unsuccessful attempts to reach the nest, Hank cares for the egg at his campsite.  With the help of mother hummingbird, there's a happy ending for all.  Dudley built wonderfully detailed dioramas from paper, clay, fabric etc. and then photographed them.  She created a world readers will want to visit again and again.
