Building Blocks to Fluency in Spanish

David Axelrod, political consultant, senior strategist to President Obama's historic 2008 presidential campaign and re-election campaign, former senior advisor to the president, and director of the Institute of Politics at the University of Chicago, discusses his bestselling book, "Believer: My Forty Years in Politics" with Steve Edwards, executive director of the Institute of Politics and former acclaimed host at WBEZ. In his book, Axelrod opens up about his years as a journalist, political consultant, and ultimately, senior advisor to the president. Books will be for sale and the event will conclude with a book signing.

For walking toddlers to 2 1/2 year olds with parent or caregiver.
Enjoy an interactive storytime with picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, and parachute play. Nurture your toddler's love of books and encourage him or her to learn numbers, colors, sounds, and new words. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play and time to meet other parents, caregivers, and toddlers.
