For walking toddlers to 2 year olds with parent or caregiver.
Enjoy an interactive storytime with picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, and parachute play. Nurture your toddler's love of books and encourage him or her to learn numbers, colors, sounds, and new words. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play and time to meet other parents, caregivers, and toddlers.

Also learn about security for your network, systems, mobile devices, as well as the things viruses do and how to defend against them. Learn some surprising aspects of computer security and the one thing that ensures you have your data even when all else fails!

SCORE - Counselors to America's Small Business - is a nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and success of small business in the US.

The workshop is presented by SCORE Chicago, City of Highland Park's Office of Economic Development, Highland Park Chamber of Commerce, and the Library.

In this class, you will learn the new Charms menu, start screen, navigation by touch and with a mouse, personalization, saving to the OneDrive cloud, using Windows 8 apps and more. Bring your Windows 8 device (tablet or laptop) and know the user name and password for your Windows Live account. Cost is $10.00. Full payment by cash or check is required at least three days prior to the first class or registration will be cancelled. No refunds will be given for cancellations or no-shows. Intro to Word

You will gain a working knowledge of how to create, change, cut, customize, save and print many types of documents. Learn how to work the new toolbars that offer powerful Word capabilities by selecting from galleries of predefined styles, table formats, list formats, graphical effects, and more. Cost of text is not included in fee. To save your work, you will need to bring to class a USB Flash Drive 1GB minimum. Cost is $50.
