Northlight Theatre Previews "Shining Lives"

Members of Northlight Theatre's production of "Shining Lives" preview and discuss the world premiere musical based on a heroic true story about young women at Chicago’s Radium Dial Company. It’s 1922 and the women are living a dream and earning good wages. After years of hand painting watch dials, the so-called “harmless” radium leads to devastating results. Four women upend their lives with a determination to change the future.

Enjoy an interactive storytime with picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, and parachute play. Nurture your toddler's love of books and encourage him or her to learn numbers, colors, sounds, and new words. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play and time to meet other parents, caregivers, and toddlers.
