Stephen Bardo, a television college basketball analyst and the former starting point guard on the University of Illinois 1989 men's basketball team that reached the Final Four, discusses his book about the popular University of Illinois basketball team that was nicknamed the Flyin’ Illini. Books will be for sale and the event will conclude with a book signing.

Ina Pinkney, known as the Breakfast Queen, was chef/owner of Ina's, one of Chicago's premier breakfast restaurants. Her book is a memoir with recipes or a cookbook with stories. Ina will discuss her book and serve samples of her coffeecake. Her monthly column, “Breakfast With Ina,” appears in the Dining Section of the "Chicago Tribune." Books will be for sale and the event will conclude with a book signing.

Friday, October 10, 2014 - 10:30am to 11:30am

Newborns to walkers with parent or caregiver.
Introduce your baby to the sounds and rhythms of language using stories, music, and rhymes. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses and build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play featuring age-appropriate toys and time for socialization.
