News from the Youth Department

    Monday, September 11th: Kids ages 3-6 and a caregiver are invited to explore Life in a Pond with our friends from the Park District of Highland Park! The program starts @ 10:45am in the Library meeting room, no registration required!

    Thursday, September 14th: Children ages 3-6 are invited to stretch, breathe and move at their very own Yoga Time. Our friends from Banner Day Camp will be here to lead this introductory practice.  Yoga starts @ 1:30pm in the Library meeting room, no registration required!

    Friday, September 15th: Meet us at the Heller Nature Center for Autumn Fest! Miss Deena and Miss Marcia will be there with stories and a craft from 4-7pm. Don't miss out on all the fun. Visiting the Nature Center and doing crafts and stories with the Library is free. Other events at the Autumn Fest may require you to purchase tickets. 

    Saturday, September 16th: Our chess expert is back! Kids ages 7-14 are invited to come play in friendly chess matches from 10:30am-12pm on Saturdays in the Youth Services Department.
