What is it?

Junior Page Volunteers are kids who like to help out in the Youth Services Department of the Highland Park Public Library. They shelve books, do odd jobs, help with summer reading and gain work experience.

Who can join?

All students entering 6th, 7th, 8th or 9th grade.

When is it?

Session  I: Monday, June 9 through Saturday, July 5, 2008
 

Orientation Thursday, June 5 at 7:00 p.m. or Saturday, June 7 at 11:00 a.m.

 

 

Session II: Monday, July 7 through Saturday, August 2, 2008
  Orientation Monday, June 30 at 4:00 p.m. or Wednesday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m.

You may work one hour a day.

How can I join?

Registration begins in person at the Youth Services Desk or by phone (847) 681-7030 on May 1.

 

Please note: We have room for only 20 volunteers in each session.

If more than 20 people sign up, volunteers will be chosen by lottery.
