News from the Youth Department

  • Make and take Family Bingo - Tuesday @ 6:30pm - Come and create your own Bingo Cards, play a few games, then bring them home for more family fun! We have prizes ;)

    Indoor Storywalk - Friday from 10am-5pm - Stop by and do this activity at your own pace. Follow the pages of a story around the Library! 

    Black Friday Black Out - Friday from 1-4pm - Do some scratch art or try your hand at black out poetry! All materials will be provided, no registration necessary. 

    3D Printing - Friday @ 4pm - Please register students ages 9-13 to spend an hour using Tinkercad to create your own 3D designs to submit for printing on the Library's 3D printer! Staff will be on hand to offer assistance.  

    Drop-In Chess - Saturday from 10:30am-12pm - Chess is back! Come play a few rounds, no need to register and our chess expert will be on hand to help out beginning and advanced players! Children under age 7 require adult supervision. 

    Don't forget, November is Native American Heritage Month. Check out our lobby display or ask a Librarian to help you find materials to learn more about Native American heritage, traditions and peoples!  Or check out some great fiction reads by Native American authors.
