Sister Cities

The Highland Park Sister Cities Foundation, organized in 1989, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting improved understanding of different people and cultures. The City of Ferrara, Italy became Highland Park's first Sister City, and Vallabhagnagar, India is recognized as a "friendship city." In 2002, Puerto Vallarta will become Highland Park's newest Sister City.
