Summer Baby Booktime

Friday, August 28, 2015 - 10:30am to 11:30am

Newborns to walkers with parent or caregiver.
Introduce your baby to the sounds and rhythms of language using stories, music, and rhymes. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses and build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play featuring age-appropriate toys and time for socialization.

Join us any time during the session. There will be a chess expert there to help you whether you are a beginner or an advanced player.

Enjoy an interactive storytime with picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, and parachute play. Nurture your toddler's love of books and encourage him or her to learn numbers, colors, sounds, and new words. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play and time to meet other parents, caregivers, and toddlers.

Young Hackers Collective

Looking for a fun way to learn about 3D printing, computer programming, robotics, creating mobile apps, gaming, and more? HPPL Young Hackers Collective is a program designed to encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for STEAM learning. Students in grades 5-8 are invited to explore the limits of what is possible. This is a drop in program, no registration necessary.
