Summer Baby Booktime

Newborns to walkers with parent or caregiver.
Introduce your baby to the sounds and rhythms of language using stories, music, and rhymes. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses and build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play featuring age-appropriate toys and time for socialization.

An Introduction to Python

Students will have a brief lecture on the uses for and characteristics of the Python computer programming language. Students will be introduced to the self-guided tutorials for Python via Codecademy and CodeSkulptor. Some prior programming experience required.

Summer First Steps

Tuesday, August 18, 2015 - 9:15am to 10:00am

For walking toddlers to 2 1/2 year olds with parent or caregiver.
Enjoy an interactive storytime with picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, and parachute play. Nurture your toddler's love of books and encourage him or her to learn numbers, colors, sounds, and new words. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play and time to meet other parents, caregivers, and toddlers.
