Spring Storytime Live!

Thursday, April 16, 2015 - 1:30pm to 2:00pm

For ages 3 to 6.
Drop off your independent preschoolers or kindergartners for a special storytime! Let them enjoy great stories, puppets, flannel boards, music, and activities that foster pre-reading skills, broaden social skills, and encourage a love of books.

Spring First Steps

Friday, April 17, 2015 - 9:15am to 10:00am

For walking toddlers to 2 year olds with parent or caregiver.
Enjoy an interactive storytime with picture books, songs, fingerplays, puppets, and parachute play. Nurture your toddler's love of books and encourage him or her to learn numbers, colors, sounds, and new words. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play and time to meet other parents, caregivers, and toddlers.

Looking for a fun way to learn about 3D printing, computer programming, robotics, creating mobile apps, gaming, and more? ClubTech is a program designed to encourage curiosity and enthusiasm for STEAM learning. Students in grades 5-8 are invited to join in this hands-on discovery session.

Eric Leonardson of the Midwest Society of Acoustic Ecology will introduce the concept of Soundscape Ecology and lead participants in a sound walk. Dress for weather. Meet in the Auditorium. (Ages 8 and up)
