Historic Portrayal - Eleanor Roosevelt

Actress and scholar Leslie Goddard brings history to life with her historic portrayals. In this program, Goddard portrays Eleanor Roosevelt, sharing stories of her childhood, her marriage to Franklin D. Roosevelt, her work during World War I, Franklin's bout with polio, coming to the White House, WWII, and Franklin's death. Presented with the Highland Park Senior Center. Fall Baby Booktime

Newborns to walkers with parent or caregiver.
Introduce your baby to the sounds and rhythms of language using stories, music, and rhymes. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses and build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play featuring age-appropriate toys and time for socialization.
