Historic Portrayal - Eleanor Roosevelt
Actress and scholar Leslie Goddard brings history to life with her historic portrayals. In this program, Goddard portrays Eleanor Roosevelt, sharing stories of her childhood, her marriage to Franklin D. Roosevelt, her work during World War I, Franklin's bout with polio, coming to the White House, WWII, and Franklin's death. Presented with the Highland Park Senior Center. Learn Stop Motion
Drop by the Digital Media Lab with a cut out drawing, toy, or other small object or objects and learn to make a short stop-motion animated movie on the Sprout. For grades K - 8.
Come by the Alice Brenner Room and play some classic table top games. Scrabble, Chess/Checkers, the "Game of the Week", and a selection of other games will be available.

Kids will learn the basics of knitting and work on a project that's perfect as a gift or for themselves in this 4-week series of workshops. The Library will supply needles, yarn, and patterns, but you may also bring your own supplies and projects to work on.

Fall Baby Booktime
Newborns to walkers with parent or caregiver.
Introduce your baby to the sounds and rhythms of language using stories, music, and rhymes. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses and build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and reading. Each class will end with 1/2 hour of play featuring age-appropriate toys and time for socialization.
