This class is filled with demonstrations, hands-on practice, and helpful tips and tricks for successful navigation. Compasses will be available during the class. For ages 7 and older.

The story covers nearly forty years in the lives of a Jewish immigrant family, starting in 1914 when Sam Krichinsky (Armin Mueller-Stahl) emigrates to Baltimore. The family goes from poverty through prosperity, facing and adjusting to the changing world around them. The film received several Academy Award and Golden Globes nominations, including best screenplay and best original score (Randy Newman) and was directed by Barry Levinson.

Give your preschooler a head start with this program packed with great stories, puppets, flannel boards, music, and rhymes. Share this storytime together and build language and listening skills.
Learn to Play Canasta
Canasta is a fun, social, and challenging card game. It is a partnership game that is played with two decks of cards. Each player should bring one deck of cards (with Jokers) and pen and paper for note-taking. Cost-$50. Payment due at time of registration. You are not officially registered until payment is received. Fall Storytime Live!
For ages 3 1/2 to 6.
Drop off your independent preschoolers or kindergartners for a special storytime! Let them enjoy great stories, puppets, flannel boards, music, and activities that foster pre-reading skills, broaden social skills, and encourage a love of books.
Learn Stop Motion
Drop by the Digital Media Lab with a cut out drawing, toy, or other small object or objects and learn to make a short stop motion animated movie on the Sprout. For grades K - 8.
Intro to Guitar
This class is designed to give students the fundamental knowledge necessary to be able to start playing the guitar in a very short period of time. You will learn to play a few basic chords and play along with a few songs. Students are responsible for bringing their own guitar and guitar pick. The guitars should have 6 strings, and be in working condition. Cost=$30
