News from the Gerbils

  • We know most students have tons of activities and homework to do, so we're starting a club where they can talk about books and enjoy the company of other readers without having the time commitment of reading a particular book by a certain day.

Students can talk about whatever books they want in an open environment (with snacks ;)) We'll also have games and other book-related activities each month! As an added bonus, book club participants will have first crack at some brand new books each time we meet.

Please sign up for each session you are able to attend at kidsevents.org

3rd - 5th graders are invited to participate in Book Buzz on Wednesdays, October 26th and November 30th @ 4pm.

6th-8th graders are invited to join Fully Booked on Wednesdays, October 19th and November 16th @ 4pm.
