Meet The Author.  Acclaimed science writer Adam Rutherford will make a special appearance at the Library to discuss his new book, Humanimal: How Homo sapiens Became Nature's Most Paradoxical Creature-A New Evolutionary History. Rutherford’s A Brief History of Everyone Who Ever Lived was a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist for nonfiction.  In his new book, Rutherford explores how many of the things once considered to be exclusively human are not and explains how we became the creatures we are today.  Illuminating the latest genetic research, the book is an account of what fixes us as animals - and what makes us extraordinary.

Books will be for sale and the event will conclude with a book signing.
