Memory Cafe - New Location - New Format

Join us for Memory Café, a welcoming and safe space for individuals with memory loss and mild cognitive impairment. Caregivers and loved ones are encouraged to attend.
We’re excited to introduce our enhanced program, now incorporating activities that engage all five senses, creating meaningful and immersive interactions. Rediscover joy, connection, and community at the Memory Café—a place where every moment matters.
Sept 17 Identity and Art Through discussion and a hands-on creative activity, participants will explore their interests, values, experiences, and unique qualities. Using colors, images, and symbols, participants will create their own self-portrait.
Oct 15 Learn to Junk Journal Junk journaling is a creative way to preserve memories and tell your story using everyday items such as maps, cards, photos, and keepsakes. Participants will learn how to create their own handmade journal while exploring memories, creativity. and self-expression.
Nov 19 Thanksgiving Bingo Join us for Pilgrim Pride and Turkey Talk. Celebrate Thanksgiving with a fun afternoon of bingo, prizes and taste testing pies. Bring your festive spirit and your lucky troll.
Dec 17 Tune Up Your Holidays Test your musical knowledge with a festive holiday song-guessing game, take a nostalgic sleigh ride down memory lane, and create a fun holiday keepsake to enjoy at home.
No registration is required. Membership to Highland Park Senior Center is not required.
